Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see Officer Reyes and our VIPs (Volunteers in Policing) at the Ice Dogs game last night in order to donate to the Shop With A Cop program! We’d also like to give a special thank you to Rob Proffit and the Ice Dogs for their support!
Shop with a Cop is an annual event hosted each December by FPD and Volunteers In Policing. It involves area law enforcement agencies creating memorable and positive experiences for children in our community who have been nominated by their schools to participate.
This is a wonderful event that brings law enforcement together with youths in Fairbanks and North Pole that need encouragement and connection.
Funds donated to the program will go towards gifts for the families and other costs associated with the event.
