Welcome

The City of Fairbanks welcomes the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) team to Fairbanks. The City is sponsoring the team for 7 weeks to serve local non-profit organizations in our community. These young AmeriCorps members have committed to ten months of service across the state of Alaska and we commend their dedication to public service.

This year they will be serving at the Fairbanks Community Food Bank, Bread Line Inc., Fairbanks Youth Advocates, Tanana Chiefs Conference, Fairbanks Soil and Water Conservation District, and North Star Community Foundation with Santa’s Helpers. The City expresses special thanks to the Fairbanks Youth Advocates for partnering as the housing sponsor for the team.
