#Juneau - Notice of Heavy Equipment Operation and Road Closure. Weather permitting, Glacier Highway will be milled from Anka Street to the end of the Lemon Creek project (past the old Walmart). Work will take place between the hours of 7:00pm and 7:00am starting Thursday, September 15 through Monday, September 19, 2022. On Thursday, September 15, Davis Avenue will be closed. Use Central Avenue Detour for access (see map). Secon will be operating a milling machine, excavator, paver, roller, skid-steer, 10-yard and 20-yard dump trucks within the project area under the conditions of noise permit number 20210004. This permit does not allow unreasonable noise disturbances after 10:00pm or before 7:00am on weekdays and before 9:00am on weekends. Please contact Secon at 907-371-2019 if you have questions. Contact the Juneau Police Department at 907-586-0600 to report unreasonable noise disturbances or other permit violations.
