The University of Alaska Fairbanks Department of Athletics has announced a final opportunity for fans to purchase tickets to the 2025 Nanook Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon. The event is scheduled for Friday, October 3, at Pike’s Waterfront Lodge in Fairbanks. This marks the first Hall of Fame class since 2018 for the Nanooks.

Doors will open at 11:00 a.m., with lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to noon. The induction ceremony will begin at 12:15 p.m. While some tickets remain available online, walk-up admission will also be offered as space allows.

– The 2011 Women’s Cross Country Team, which became the first Alaska team to qualify for the NCAA Division II Championships and finished 17th nationally.
– Peter Alden (Cross Country/Nordic Skiing, 1987-93), who was the first Nanook to earn All-America honors in cross country and qualified for the NCAA Skiing Championships.
– Sam Harthun (Volleyball, 2012-15), Alaska’s all-time kills leader and a three-time First Team All-GNAC selection.
– Bente Heller (Swimming, 2010-14), Alaska’s first individual NCAA swimming champion and a 14-time All-American.
– Don Jamieson (Hockey, 1981-85), who transitioned from forward to defenseman and inspired the annual Don Jamieson Unsung Hero Award.
– Victoria Jones (Swimming, 2013-17), a six-time NCAA All-American known for her backstroke and relay performances.
– Russ Knapp (Hockey, 1966-69), an early goaltender honored with the William R. Cashen Service Award.
– Margot Lucchesi (Swimming, 2011-15), a two-time national runner-up and four-time PCSC champion in the 100 butterfly.
– Darryl Lewis, Sr. (Basketball, 1985-87), who scored over 800 points in two seasons and served as team captain.
– Keith Street (Hockey, 1985-88), who scored 157 points in three seasons and is namesake of the team’s top scorer award.
