The Storm Drain Art Contest is OPEN for submissions!
*Deadline for submissions is 5pm on April 30, 2022.
*Artists will paint their designs on Lacey Street storm drains on Saturday, June 4th from 9am to 4pm (weather permitting).
*Winning artists will receive $100 for each design painted.
The purpose of this project is to raise public awareness that ALL storm drains flow directly into the Chena River and to provide an opportunity for artists to create public works of art in downtown Fairbanks.
