Unchanged number of lawyers with active licenses to practice in cities within Southeast Fairbanks Census Area in Q4 2024 compared to previous quarter

Cities in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area recorded no change in the number of lawyers with active licenses compared to the previous quarter, according to the Alaska Bar Association.

In total, there was one active legal license registered in cities within Southeast Fairbanks Census Area in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The only license was granted in the city of Delta.

Alaska has no law schools, yet it maintains a higher-than-average ratio of lawyers compared to the relatively low overall population. In Alaska, there are now 2,486 attorneys actively practicing law and a total of 4,160 lawyers licensed to practice in the state.

As of November 2024, the average salary for a lawyer in Alaska was around $112,794 per year, above the national average.

Data refers to all lawyers who were actively practicing during this period.
