On the anniversary of the October 7th terrorist attacks, Senator Sullivan issued a statement reflecting on the events that occurred one year ago. He described it as "the worst terrorist attack in their history," noting that it resulted in the deaths of 1,200 people, many of whom were civilians. The attack also led to nearly 100 hostages being taken by Hamas terrorists, including several American citizens. Sullivan emphasized the call for their "immediate, unconditional release."

Sullivan expressed America's mourning alongside Israel and reiterated support for Israel's right to peace and security. He highlighted the ongoing threat posed by Tehran and its proxies.

In response to this anniversary, Senator Sullivan, along with Senator Joni Ernst from Iowa and all 47 Senate Republican colleagues, introduced a resolution showing solidarity with Israel.
