Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area had unemployment rate of 12.7% in 2021

Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area recorded an unemployment rate of 12.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 339 people out of the 5,433 living in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area has decreased compared to the 14.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.5%.

Of the 2,326 people who had a job during that time, 19 were employed in the Armed Forces and 2,307 belonged to the civilian labor force.
