 #2023ACCDEvent The Civil Rights Office through the Alaska DOT&PF is excited to announce that we are once again hosting the Alaska Construction Career Day for high school students on Wednesday, April 26th. This event will be held at the Alaska State Fair Grounds and will feature the following trades: Welding, Electrical Wiring, Heavy Equipment, Surveying, Carpentry, and Drilling.

High school students from Anchorage School District, Mat-Su School District and rural/home school are encouraged to sign up. 

This is a FREE event for students! All participants will receive a FREE bag of safety supplies, FREE transportation, and a FREE lunch! 

Disclaimer: The Alaska Construction Career Days (ACCD) is funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and administered through the Alaska Department of Transportation Civil Rights Office. The funding is used to supply each student with protection equipment (PPE), hard hat, gloves, safety vest, safety glasses ear plugs, lunch and transportation to and from the event. All participants must wear close-toed shoes. No sandals or open-toe shoes will be permitted.
