UPDATE 3/21/23- Today a convoy of 20 vehicles will be traveling via the Richardson Highway from Ft. Wainwright to Delta Junction. Please drive safely and check 511.alaska.gov for updates.
UPDATE, 3/17/23- Military convoy of 15 vehicles, 6 Trailers, left JBER early this morning, traveling northbound to Fairbanks via Glenn and Parks Highways. Please drive safely and check 511.alaska.gov for road conditions and alerts.
Hey, #Alaska, spring is the season for Military Convoys between #Anchorage and #Fairbanks and we just wanted to give you a heads up!
From March 22-28 AND April 6-14 expect delays and increased traffic due to military movements on the Glenn and Parks Highways between Anchorage and Fairbanks. These convoys will be evenly spaced, tracked and monitored for increased safety.
