Beginning 1 am on Dec. 11, our Field Maintenance crew went into overdrive, providing continuous snow removal operations, to keep our runways, taxiways and more open and operational. They are an award-winning team. To put it into perspective, in the past day, ANC received at least 17 inches on top of 13+ inches from days earlier.
That means not only were our heavy equipment operators busy, so were our mechanics, electricians, facilities maintenance personnel, and more. We are proud of them, and all the rest of our ANC employees, because they keep our airport amongst the best and busiest in the world.
