Dec. 12, 2022 9:30 a.m. UPDATE for Southcentral Alaska:
All available personnel and equipment are deployed for the storm response. Crews are continuing to work on Priority One highways to keep them open. A reminder that blowing snow can obliterate the work that our plow operators have done relatively quickly. Rest assured, we are throwing all available resources at the highways, and once they have been restored to acceptable driving conditions, our operators will start working through the inventory.
Just a head's up—we typically do not plow neighborhood roads. Please check with your local government on plowing status.
