Update on State of Alaska DOT&PF snow removal efforts throughout Southcentral Alaska:

All available operators and equipment are deployed to clean up the record snow fall and they are currently preparing for the next storm that will be starting tonight, Dec. 10.

We have crews working around the clock. They have moved through the Priority One and Two roadways and will be concentrating on the priority three roads tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 11.

Our mechanics are prioritizing any and all repairs needed for snow removal equipment in order to keep equipment on the road, moving snow, scraping ice and sanding as needed.

We’re working with the National Weather Service to track the impacts of the storm as it moves through the region so we can shift resources as necessary.

Wondering if your road is a state maintained roadway? Check our winter priority map here: https://dot.alaska.gov/stwdmno/wintermap/
