ICYMI – The State of Alaska is partially reopening Chena River Recreation Site TODAY (August 26th) at NOON. Firewood from the clean-up of the site is available when the gates open at noon on a first come basis.
Facilities reopening:
· Boat launch
· Pavilion
· Day-use area
Facilities remaining CLOSED:
· Overnight camping
· Dump station
· Bathrooms
Thank you to all of the organizations that helped clean up the site so this partial reopening could take place!
