The Fairbanks Storm Water Advisory Committee wants to remind the public to take special note of our local storm drains and ditches during spring break up! Stormwater carries pollutants like lawn chemicals, grass clippings, soap suds from washing vehicles, motor oil, sediments, pet waste, and litter to rivers, lakes, and streams.
We need your help to keep these pollutants OUT of our storm drains and ditches, ultimately emptying into our waterways.
