Governor Mike Dunleavy issued the following announcement on March 25.
The State of Alaska has received improvements in outlook by the credit rating agency in two consecutive years reflecting improved fiscal conditions.
Alaska Department of Revenue Commissioner Lucinda Mahoney stated, “With the significant improvement in our revenues due to increased price of oil, it is important that we maintain long-term fiscal spending discipline and continue to strengthen our reserves for ongoing budget stability.”
