Alaska State Office issued the following announcement on March 12.
In addition to the five current campground host positions in Oregon, there is also an interpretive host position at Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area currently open.
All the positions involve greeting visitors and being a helpful BLM aide, others also include handling payments and doing regular facility cleaning.
In return, hosts often qualify for free RV or camper accommodations, among other perks.
