Bureau of Land Management issued the following announcement on March 5.

The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comments on an Environmental Assessment for installation of an outdoor electrical pedestal on the grounds of the BLM Campbell Creek Science Center.

The electrical pedestal would be used to provide outdoor power for outreach- and education-related programs. It would also be used to supply power for an office trailer. The trailer would be used to accommodate administrative office space for groups, such as Trailside Discovery Camp, and may also be used by Campbell Creek Science Center staff.

The BLM welcomes and values diverse views about the public land it manages on behalf of the American people. Comments on the proposal will be accepted through March 23, 2020.  A description of the proposal can be found on the BLM ePlanning website.  A link to the ePlanning page for this project can be found at https://www.blm.gov/office/anchorage-field-office.

Comments can be submitted electronically through ePlanning, by email at blm_ak_afo_general_delivery@blm.gov, or by mail at:
