A workshop led by dietetics student Paula Veshti will offer Sitka residents the chance to learn how to make fresh spring rolls, healthy dipping sauces, and a fruity dessert. The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20 at the Sitka Lutheran Church kitchen, located at 224 Lincoln St., according to an announcement from the University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service office in Sitka.
The workshop aims to promote healthy eating by teaching participants how to prepare nutritious meals using fresh fruits and vegetables. The cost for attending is $30.
