The Nanooks Nordic skiing team will conclude its 2026 season at the NCAA Championships, which will be held at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Midway, Utah. The championship races are scheduled for Thursday, March 12, with a 7.5-kilometer classic interval start, and Saturday, March 14, featuring a 20-kilometer freestyle mass start.

This event marks the final competition of the season for the Nanooks. The team previously finished fourth in the Nordic standings at the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association (RMISA) Championships, earning a total of 245 points. Rosie Fordham achieved podium finishes in both races at that event, taking third place in the 7.5k classic and second place in the 20k freestyle.

The women’s squad ended their RMISA Championship campaign with 126 points and a fourth-place finish in the Nordic standings. The men’s team secured fifth place with 119 points. For this year’s NCAA Championships, three men—Ben Dohlby (making his third appearance), Philipp Moosmayer (second appearance), and Blake Hanley (debut)—and two women—Fordham (fourth appearance) and Viktorie Kahounova (first season)—qualified to compete.

Throughout this season, Fordham has collected four podium finishes across various events. Dohlby recorded three fourth-place results, including two at the Utah Invitational and one at the RMISA Nordic qualifiers. Moosmayer earned two fourth-place finishes at the Colorado Invitational.

At last year’s NCAA Championships, the Nanooks placed fifth overall in Nordic standings with notable performances from Kendall Kramer—who won the women’s 20k freestyle—and All-American honors for Dohlby and Moosmayer. In addition to recent race results, three Nanooks were named to All-RMISA teams: Moosmayer and Dohlby received Honorable Mentions while Fordham was selected for the First Team.
