On Friday, April 4, former Monroe Catholic High School standout Nadia Chernich’s current college team, the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the McNeese State Cowgirls.
The game took place at North Oak Park. This was their first matchup against the Cowgirls this season.
The Lady Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at North Oak Park against McNeese State Cowgirls.
Thirteen members of the Alaska Nanooks cross country teams have been named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) Academic All-Conference Team, presented by Barnes & Noble College.
