On Thursday, Feb. 26, Fort Lewis Skyhawks’ 6′2″ sophomore guard Stewart Erhart—formerly of West Valley High School—took the court during the team’s 82-61 defeat against the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves.
Erhart finished with 15 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds in 27 minutes of play.
Fort Lewis travels to face the Colorado Christian Cougars next, with tipoff on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m.
According to the U.S. Department of Education, the University of Alaska Fairbanks allocated $572,986 to women’s basketball teams in 2024, which is $262,734 below the state average of $835,720.
Men’s basketball teams from Fairbanks North Star Borough received $617,846 during the 2024 season, down 32.3% from the previous year.
Women’s basketball teams from Fairbanks North Star Borough received $572,986 during the 2024 season, down 23.9% from the previous year.
