Cornhole tournament organized by Nanooks Hockey opens registration

FAIRBANKS – The annual Face-Off Club Cornhole Tournament, sponsored by Denali Industrial Supply, is now open for registration. The event will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 1-4 p.m. at Growden Park, the home of the Alaska Goldpanners. Teams of two can participate in the double-elimination format tournament for a fee of $60 per team.

The tournament offers cash prizes with $500 for the first-place team and $250 for the second-place team. Registration closes on August 18. Interested participants can contact Anna Culley at (907) 322-7633 or email annaculley30@gmail.com for more information.

Supporters who do not wish to play can sponsor a board for $100. Sponsors will receive event signage, thank you announcements during the tournament, and recognition in an applause letter published in the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner.
