Due to the additional challenges that have arisen from the immense amount of rain and snow we received this winter, the City of Fairbanks has rented additional boiler trucks and jetvac trucks to remove rising water in neighborhoods throughout the city this weekend to protect homes and businesses.

While we started steaming and thawing storm drains in the beginning of April, extra effort is necessary to deal with all of the storm drains around Fairbanks, as this is a record breaking season. You will see us out in force this weekend! Thank you to our amazing Public Works crew!!
