The Alaska Nanooks women’s basketball team has announced the signing of Addie Prisciandaro for the 2026-27 season. Prisciandaro, a 5-foot-5 guard from Prescott, Arizona, will join the Nanooks next year.

Head coach Michael Ricks commented on the addition: “We’re thrilled to welcome Addie as the first member of our 2026 class. She’s a proven scorer with deep range, and her competitiveness and consistency stand out. We’re excited for her future in Fairbanks.”

Prisciandaro has received recognition as a two-time Grand Canyon Region Offensive Player of the Year and is also a two-time First Team All-Region selection. She enters her senior year at Prescott High School as both the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,475 points and its single-season scoring record holder with 571 points. During her junior year, she averaged 20 points per game and made 83 three-pointers at a 37 percent shooting rate.

Expressing enthusiasm about joining Alaska Fairbanks, Prisciandaro stated: “After growing up in Haines, Alaska, I am very excited to be coming back to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I am so thankful for my family, coaches, and teammates who have helped me to get here. Go Nanooks!”

The program will announce additional signings as they occur throughout the season.
